 Child and Pet friendly - 2 Bedroom gite sleeping 3 people + baby. This charming self catering gite, with enclosed garden and private off road parking is located in a small village just 8.5 kms from the medieval town of Dinan, and is situated in at the port of Lyvet, with views of the harbour from the enclosed veranda and 2nd bedroom, and and a short walk to two restaurant/bars. The Gite: This comprises, on the ground floor, a living room with wood burning stove, and is furnished with 1 lounge suite, 1 arm chair and coffee table. For your entertainment there is English and French TV, DVD and video player. Also on the ground floor is the equipped kitchen/dining room, with fridge/freezer, gas stove, oven, and dishwasher. The kitchen leads out inot the garden with outdoor furniture. There is also a ground floor shower room and WC, and washing machine. On the 1st floor there is the main bedroom, with a bathroom with shower/bath leading from the bedroom as well as the enclosed veranda. On the 2nd floor is bedroom 2, furnished with a traditional French 3/4 size bed and wardrobe. From this room there are also views of the harbour Outside: The gite has a private garden and parking area, with outdoor furniture and BBQ. The cottage is conveniently located only a short drive from Dinan (10 minutes) where you will find a selection of shops, restaurants, cafes and historical attractions. Alternatively you can enjoy a glorious walk along the Rance river from La Hisse to the port of Dinan, which would take around 45 minutes, where you will find a selection of restaurants and cafes. The gite is ideally positioned for visiting nearby popular tourist attactions such as Mont. St. Michel, Cap Frehel, The Granite coast, Rennes, Fougeres and Vitre. It is around 20 - 30 minutes by car to golf courses and the popular coastal towns of St. Malo and Dinard. Important information: The property is pet friendly The property has gas central heating. Private off road parking for guests. Linen and towel bundles available for rental. Winter lets available: price on request. Rental week commences from 4pm (16.00 hrs) Saturday to 10am (10.00hrs) the following Saturday. However, we do try to accommodate mid-week change-overs where possible. A 30% non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure the booking, with the balance due eight (8) weeks prior to the arrival date. A security deposit of 250€ is required on arrival at the apartment.
